We are currently awaiting approval of an official Government petition calling for the creation of a legal entitlement to two weeks paid bereavement leave for employees in the UK.
Once published, we hope that this petition will become a key cornerstone of our campaign at this crucial time in the decision making process for paid bereavement leave in the UK.
Previous Petition
From December 2024 to June 2025, we ran a petition calling on the Government to introduce a legal right to paid bereavement leave.
We obtained 3,101 signatures and two written responses from the Government, but more importantly, we started the conversation on bereavement leave.
