Alice is a qualified solicitor, resilience advocate and the founder of Time to Grieve.

She created the campaign in December 2024 after recognising the significant gap in the current law for people experiencing bereavement in the workplace. Her own experience of losing both of her parents by the age of 18 strongly drives her mission to improve support for others navigating grief.

In October 2025, Alice was crowned Miss Great Britain 2025/26, becoming the first qualified lawyer and first redhead to win the title. She now uses her national platform to campaign for a legal right to paid bereavement leave in the UK and to encourage more open, compassionate conversations about grief.
